So, instead of doing homework, I'm going to sit here and tell you how AWESOME the play is. Les miserables is the best play in the world! And the Arcadia High School Theater Department is performing it!!!! I was soooo excited when I heard they were doing it. I've loved the music since I was like a little girl. So, I was even more excited when I got to go see it last night. And AWESOME, just doesn't quite do it justice.
The guy playing Jean Valjean is absolutely perfect for the part. But I still can't figure out way the guy tried- out in the first place. But I have to give major props to this guy for singing those high notes (for two of the songs) in front of a huge audience.
Fantine... What to say about the girl playing Fantine? For starters, I kept getting the chills when she was singing. That might give you a hint of how good her voice is. Not only does she have a great voice, but she's an amazing actress as well. And she's perfect for playing Fantine.
Javert. I think he was the best. This guy totally nailed the part. He voice is great and he nailed all his lines. But I think the best part is that he was in character even when the audiences attention wasn't on him. That totally bumped up my respect.
Cosette. Damn that girl can hit the high notes. She makes such a cute Cosette.
ENJOLRAS!!! My new favorite character. Played by the amazing Ali. GREAT job, Ali!!!
Overall, there was some amazing talent up on that stage. I'm so gald I got to see it last night, tonight, and that I can see it again tomorrow night.
To help explain (as if you needed anymore help) how awesome this play was: My grandma cried. She's been a fan of the story for years. She's read the book three times, she's seen the musical, and she came to see the play tonight. She's cried.
Congrats to all the actors and actresses! Congrats to all those play the amazing music! And Congrats to all those who helped make the play possible. It was absolutly stunning.

Tomorrow is the last day of Spring Break. It's kinda depressing. But I've actually done something this week. I went the Renaissance Festival with my friends, then I spent two days with another friend, then I went to the zoo, I can't remember what I did Thursday, but Ali came over for a while. Friday and Saturday, I woke up at 6 to help my cousin at a yard sale. That's a full week. No one can accuse me of being anti- social this week!! Of course, among all this, I made time to read and work on my lanyards. But tomorrow, I'm hopeing that I can relax a little and finish my book.
I'm going good with the lanyards. I've started like 50 in the past couple of days. I actuallly have some blisters on my fingers. I went to Michael's two days ago and I'm already out of black and white. Luckily, I found a new roll of light pink string under my bed today. Otherwise, I'd be out of that too.
Je regarde le film, Fast and the Furious, en francais. J'adore ce film. Another thing il me faut faire demain est etudier le francais. Je pense il me faut ecrire tout mes blogs en francais. Qu' est-ce que tu pense?
Maybe doing this blog will help people understand how random my thoughts are.
So......yeah. That's it.
